Our History
Venetian Meat & Salami Co. Ltd. Opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1954. It was founded by two close friends, both from Northern Italy that wanted to specialize in the manufacturing of a gourmet line of Italian Dry Cured and Cooked Deli Meats.
Starting out of a backyard garage, both entrepreneurs combined production expertise with the business skill needed to expand to a large plant. Now, Daniel Dorigiola and Mark DalBello are operating Venetian Meat & Salami Co. Ltd., serving all of Canada and areas of the United States. With over 70 years of experience, this family operated business has successfully produced a top quality line of products using traditional family recipes and methods.
Venetian Meat & Salami Co. Ltd. is inspected by The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Agriculture of Canada and is H.A.C.C.P. approved. The meat is delivered from Federal Inspected Slaughtering Houses and is of the highest quality. The result, a product RICH IN FLAVOUR. Products are aged the PURE NATURAL WAY in several drying rooms using the Old Fashion Method which gives the product a twelve month shelf life. Our products are Gluten, Lactose and MSG free.
